You’ve probably all heard about the 80/20 principle? Well, I was thinking about that principle today and how that can best be applied to dating?
Can it be that the more we narrow down what we are looking for in a partner, the greater our matches with less effort are? Instead of spending 80% of our effort on dating as many people as possible, trying to find someone or something we’re not really sure of; ending up with only a 20% match in the end of the day. What if we instead narrow down the qualities of our partner and only spend 20% effort on dating fewer people; resulting in a match closer to 80% in the end of the day?
I’m not saying, that the better I know who I am, the easier it is for me to narrow down the qualities of my partner, and the better I can narrow them down, the more the principle will change from 80/20 to say 85/15, or maybe 90/10 or even 99/01…
Now that’s interesting…!
